Computerized Electric Systems use Smart Distribution Panel for PV Monitoring

Monday, September 27th, 2010

Computerized Electric Systems help property owners control their energy consumption.

The Smart Distribution Panel manages electricity by rates, time and circuit with built-in surge protection and phase balancing.

A quality Solar Monitoring Company for PV Monitoring and use control.

Features we like include:

1.  Run the solar system exclusively when the utility grid is UP!

2.  Critical load wiring unnecessary

3.  Set maximum peak demand

4.  Prioritize shut down by circuit

5.  Automatic phase balancing

6.  Surge protectors for each circuit unnecessary

7.  Automatic email alerts: Consumption changes & Electrical safety issues

8.  Web-based administration

Solar Incentives Rate

Thursday, September 23rd, 2010

Solar incentives are one reason why many people wait to go solar, hoping the incentives will get better with time.

Solar incentive programs, however, are uneven and at risk of coming to a halt. We face looming deadlines for the expiration of some key solar incentives, and other programs—such as loan guarantee support—are being reduced by Congress.

Think of solar incentives like locking in a mortgage interest rate, if you can get a fair return, take it.

The more you delay, the more energy prices will increase to cause conflict and devastation.

Solar Energy Embraced by Public Schools

Tuesday, September 21st, 2010

Solar energy is being embraced by home and business owners. Also embracing the financial and environmental benefits, entire school districts are on the brink of incorporating solar energy.

Solar energy is under development in the Green Valley and Gila Bend School Districts in Arizona. The solar technology will be used to teach students about solar energy.

The projects are estimated to provide more than 2.5 megawatts of solar energy—enough to power 2,000 homes or to offset the carbon emissions of 550 passenger vehicles.

Solar Incentives Seen Throughout the Country

Thursday, September 16th, 2010

Solar incentives continually lure home and business owners into going solar, and grants offered by Snohomish County in Washington make the change ever more lucrative.

Solar incentives offered at federal, state, and local levels help reduce the cost of installing solar panels at home and businesses.

For example, an orthodontist in the county paid $40,000 to have solar panels cover his business. He received $11,000 from the federal government and $3,700 from the county to save 37%. Including the value paid for excess solar energy, he will receive a risk-free, non-volatile 14% return on his investment.  Where can you do better?

Commercial Solar Technologies Enhance Energy Storage

Tuesday, September 14th, 2010

Commercial solar will begin to see the next solar technologies aimed at helping their businesses run more powerfully. The integration of energy storage systems with existing PV systems will help commercial solar buildings to be as efficient as possible.

Commercial solar benefits from overnight storage capacity to help manage increasing electrical demand with day-time solar energy production. The new energy storage system can recharge during off-peak hours and store up to 1.5 megawatts of energy to use when the sun goes down.

Solar Energy: U.S. Sees Red as Investments go to China

Friday, September 10th, 2010

Solar energy is finding its niche in China and the world’s biggest energy consumer is going green too.

Solar energy in China beats out the US, Germany, and India as the top spot for solar energy investment. With the benefits of capital, government determination, and a massive consumer market, China might be able to hold the top spot for awhile as it tries to generate 15% of its electricity from renewable sources in the next decade.
